The Story
Ellie A.Previously from Italy and with years of experience under her belt, worked across London before setting up La Groovy.She then moved her salon to Barnby Moor collaborating with Ye Olde bell spa.Her business is now relocating to Bawtry in the Yorkshire and she is renaming the salon to IL Salottino Hair Lounge and it will offer cuts, styling, full colouring service .

"Il Salottino" translates to the little sitting room in English — but in an Italian home, it means so much more. It’s the best room in the house, a warm and welcoming space where guests are received with joy. After a delicious meal, it’s where you retreat with family and friends to enjoy an espresso, share stories, and simply relax.
When I lived in Italy, Il Salottino was a place of harmony, comfort, and happiness. I’ve carried those feelings with me, and now I want to share them with you. My salon is designed to feel just like that special room — a peaceful, elegant space where you’re not just a client, but a welcomed guest.

Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983 by the Bollati Family, Davines Group started as a research laboratory, producing high-end hair care products for renowned cosmetic companies worldwide.

After a decade of honing our expertise, we began creating our own brand of Davines hair care products exclusively for salons, and in 1996 founded skin care for premier spas. Our skin care lines were further expanded in 2018 when the Skin Regimen brand was born. The Group is now a B Corp and has an international presence in more than 90 countries with a multicultural staff. In addition to the main office in Parma - the Davines Village - it has offices in New York, London, Paris, Mexico City, Deventer (Netherlands), and Hong Kong. All our Davines products are cruelty free and working constantly to reduce our impact on the environment.
